NowDiscount: Price Check App Reviews

Ive scanned several items that said "product not found" so far Ive only gotten one to work and it was a bottle of lotion that said I could buy it on Amazon online. I didnt like this app. Totally not useful at all

Every product I search for is very expensive on the app. It doesnt even show me the cheapest price on Amazon. Great idea but poor execution.

Great app! Does what it says it will do. Its intuitive and saved me money a few times at a Best Buy and Target.

Great app. Minimal ads. Used a few similar but this is by far the best. Includes wish list and history. Quick interface and lookups. I doubt youll regret the download.

Of course, the best way to find one of these apps that works for you is to test them yourself. Which I did with this disappointing app. For example: I scanned in a bag of Lays potato chips and got two results for on-line purchase and only one result for local stores selling Lays potato chips? I live within a couple of miles of all Los Angeles major grocery stores and it didnt return a single one of them as a result. (Its sole result for a "local" store isnt at all local to me which indicates that it gives results of stores that paid to advertise). The app is useless.

App wants to run location services Always. When try to turn it off in Settings/Privacy/Location services and click on it Now to change from Always it crashes. Coincidence? I think not. Its outta here!!!

Very useful, easy to use. Found a pool filter for $97 versus the $127 in the store. Showed it to the store clerk who agreed to match

I used this app to by an LCD TV. I Saved $30 more than the on sale price using the app. I will use this again when buying electronics.

Really easy to use. I have a saved money on a number of purchases- headphones, XBX 360 controller and camera accessories. Best Buy should buy these guys.

I am usually wary of free apps. However, this one does what it claimed to do. I really liked how simple the UI is and how easy the app was to use. Really good app!

I have used this app about 5 times now to buy bigger ticket items at Best Buy or Staples. It saved me money on every transaction. I think I have saved over $200 using this app. Not bad for a free app!

Best shopping I have come across. Was just at the store buying a new TV, entered the info and got the store to price match for $150 less! Simple to use and very effective. Will use for all future purposes.

Any app that saves me money and helps me locate the nearest store for the products I need, gets both thumbs up from me! Got the first version some time ago, and kept coming back to it everytime I need to shop

I like the wish list feature the most. Tried this app last week and it has worked flawlessly every time since. I now have NowDiscount installed on both my iPad & iPhone6

Very well developed and does what I need.

Its not updated to support iPhone 6, and the results it gives are extremely poor, only producing online retailer results for products like food.

It found my product in 2 different stores using the barcode scanner. Very happy with it.
